About

The wheels in my mind are always turning, and so Ideabuds began in 2009 as a way for me to jot down my ideas.

I have ideas about everything from joint ventures for local businesses to methods for increasing the recycling participation in our community.  My overarching goal is to be a force of positive influence by delivering the most beneficial information to others as I can. I am passionate about teaching and want to empower those around me.  I strive to connect those people who are like-minded in the belief that anything is possible and that together we can make big things happen.

After placing top 10 in the nation at selling Cutco, I recruited and trained 93 college students to follow in my footsteps, and together we achieved over $100,000 in sales in 4 months.

I wanted to talk about and teach something more than just selling knives, and so I decided to build on my Economics degree from the University of Michigan and become a Financial Advisor with Daniel B. Liehr, MS, MBA, CFP, ChFC, CRPC, CLU.  Dan has 14 years experience and is also the President of Mensa in Kalamazoo.

In 2012, I compiled the best information I’ve found and wrote a book, Fear Itself: The Top 9 Fears Inhibiting Success and How to Conquer Them.
